Remote Sales Live is a mobile order collection application for route sales, direct-to-store or showroom orders. It runs on Symbol portable data collection terminals. It allows users to gather customer orders, and/or invoices, quickly and accurately on site. Orders and or invoices can transmitted back to head office immediately via wireless technology, or batch downloaded at the end of the day.

The user is clearly guided through the data collection process, ensuring accurate order header and detail creation. The hand-held terminals can be attached to portable printers to print documents such as picking slips, order confirmations, receipts or invoices. Databases can be uploaded to the hand-held for lookup and verification purposes. Examples of databases that might be uploaded would be; customers, ship-to addresses, items, terms, price lists, and bar codes. Once completed, orders/shipments/invoices can be quickly transfer to the Host PC via a USB or wireless connection. Orders/shipments/invoices are then automatically imported into Sage Accpac ERP O/E through MJD's O/E Host Interface program.

Remote Sales Live is designed to operate on a Symbol Technologies hand-held terminals. Optional accessories include portable printers.
