manages the import of item quantities into ACCPAC Plus Inventory
Control's Physical Inventory Worksheets. PI Import is
designed as the host interface for the powerful PI
Live application, which makes it the most robust import utility
available for automating an ACCPAC-integrated physical inventory.

Automating the Physical Inventory Process
- Collect inventory item counts, using PI Live. If you are using
a hand-held data terminal, scan your inventory bar codes to identify
product, unit of measure, quantity and other required information.
Quantities can either be scanned in or keyed in. The data collection
process is made faster and more accurate.
- If you are using a hand-held data terminal, place it in a Cradle/Charger
to transfer the data to the host PC. You may be using a portable
laptop computer to collect data. Once the laptop is connected
to the host PC, via a LAN connection or cable, you can transfer
the file to the host.
- PI Import is ready to import files containing item quantities
into ACCPAC Plus Inventory Control s Physical Inventory Worksheets.
